Health management strategies: the need for research
Abstract
The future of medical research in New Zealand is closely tied to the country's economic well-being and to developments in the health sector as a whole. The government is becoming increasingly interested and concerned about priorities and efficiency in the use of health resources--including research resources. The paper explores these interests and concerns and develops ideas for the future of health research in New Zealand.
