Abstract
Retraction of 'Sinomenine exerts antitumour effect in gastric cancer cells via enhancement of miR-204 expression', by Yuan H, Zhang J, Li F, Li W1, Wang H. 2019;125(5):450-459: The above article, published online on 17 July 2019 in Wiley Online Library (https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1111/bcpt.13285), has been retracted by agreement between the journal Editor in Chief, Professor Kim Brøsen, the Nordic Association for the Publication of BCPT and John Wiley & Sons Ltd. The retraction has been decided following an investigation based on public allegations. The authors disagree with this decision. The investigation was conducted by several experts into the accuracy of the data acquisition, and concluded that inappropriate manipulation had taken place during Western blotting.
