Deep venous thrombosis in a non-critically ill patient with novel COVID-19 infection

Peter C Nauka et al. Thromb Res. 2020 Aug.

Abstract

  1. COVID-19 infection is associated with hypercoagulability and a prothrombotic state.

  2. Little is understood about the prevalence of venous thromboembolism in mild disease.

  3. We present a case of mild COVID-19 complicated by extensive deep venous thrombosis.
