Diagram shows current guidelines on use of personal protective equipment (PPE) at our institution. Please note that concepts are likely to evolve and vary depending on local and institutional regulations and availabilities. Column 1 recommends N-95 mask, goggles or face shield, and gown and gloves for aerosol-generating medical procedures. Column 2 demonstrates surgical face mask plus goggles or face shield, or a combination of mask and face shield, as well as gown and gloves as recommended for droplet/contact isolation. Column 3 shows surgical masks only as recommended for routine cases, unless specifically required otherwise. Column 4 recommends N-95 mask, goggles or face shield, and gown and gloves for all code blue situations
