The aim: To characterize methods of extraction of foreign bodies of maxillary sinuses, features of postoperative treatment of patients.

Material and methods: The experience of treatment of patients with maxillary sinuses foreign bodies in the clinic of ENT of PFSMU of St.Petersburg is presented. In 2019 124 patients undergo treatment of maxillary sinus foreign bodies in our clinic. All surgeries are done by endoscopic endonasal method, mostly via inferior nasal passage. Clinical case of maxillary sinus foreign body removal is presented.

Results: Almost any kind of foreign body can be removed from the maxillary sinus endoscopically through the nasal cavity. The most reliable method to diagnose foreign body is computed tomography. In most cases local antibacterial therapy is enough in postoperative period.

Цель исследования: Оценить способы удаления инородных тел верхнечелюстных пазух, особенности послеоперационного ведения больных.

Материал и методы: Приведен опыт лечения пациентов с инородными телами верхнечелюстных пазух в клинике оториноларингологии ПСПбГМУ им. акад. И.П. Павлова. За 2019 г. в клинике прошли лечение 124 пациента с инородными телами верхнечелюстных пазух. Все операции выполнялись эндоназальным подходом, 90% из них — доступом через нижний носовой ход. Представлен клинический пример лечения пациента с инородными телами верхнечелюстных пазух.

Результаты: Эндоскопический эндоназальный подход позволяет удалить практически любое инородное тело верхнечелюстной пазухи. Для диагностики инородных тел наиболее достоверным методом является компьютерная томография. В большинстве случаев в послеоперационном периоде назначение местных антибактериальных спреев является достаточным.
