Abstract

"microRNA-383 suppresses the PI3K-AKT-MTOR signaling pathway to inhibit development of cervical cancer via downregulating PARP2," by Peng Teng, Yan Jiao, Min Hao, Xin Tang, J Cell Biochem. 2018; 5243-5252: The above article, published online on 13 December 2017 in Wiley Online Library (https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/full/10.1002/jcb.26585), has been retracted by agreement between the authors, the journal's Editor-in-Chief, Prof. Dr. Christian Behl and Wiley Periodicals LLC. The retraction has been agreed following an investigation based on allegations raised by a third party. The authors admit errors in the study design that render the results too preliminary and not reliable.
