Dr Pamela Woodard is the Hugh Monroe Wilson professor of radiology and professor of biomedical engineering at the Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology, Washington University School of Medicine in St Louis, Mo, where she is also senior vice chair for radiology research facilities, director of the Center for Clinical Imaging Research, and the head of Cardiac MRI/CT. Her research interests include receptor-targeted imaging of atherosclerosis and pulmonary embolism diagnosis. She is currently a principal investigator on three National Institutes of Health R01 grants and was one of the principal investigators for the Prospective Investigation of Pulmonary Embolism Diagnosis II and III trials.
