Mean difference in skin cancer diagnoses owing to COVID-19. Across the different types of skin cancers, there was a significant decrease in average number of diagnoses from the initial to peak COVID-19 pandemic (March to May 2020) compared with pre–COVID-19 (before March 2020) and the immediate COVID-19 recovery period (June to August 2020).
