As testing capacity increased, Children's Healthcare of Atlanta (CHOA) changed testing policy to include asymptomatic (Heme Asx) testing prior to surgery and symptomatic (Heme sx) testing of patients with atypical Covid‐19 presentations such as fever and neutropenia or admission for a sickle cell crisis [Color figure can be viewed at wileyonlinelibrary.com]
