Figures

A 77-year-old woman with a 40-pack-year smoking history was admitted to the intensive care unit for SARS Cov-2 pneumonia with an oxygen saturation of 88% on room air at presentation: (a) Admission Chest CT showed paraseptal emphysema in both lower lobes and ground glass opacities (GGOs) related to SARS Cov-2 infection involving the subpleural areas of the right middle lobe, (b) CT 4-months later shows that the GGOs have resolved and the paraseptal emphysematous changes posteriorly have almost completely resolved and have been replaced by a thin linear band of what may represent fibrosis (arrows).
