Abstract

Daily news headlines highlight the disproportionate effect of COVID-19 on minoritized communities, particularly those that are socioeconomically disadvantaged. Thus, the findings that Bilal and colleagues report are unsurprising. Yet, they provide a level of granularity that reveals a public health catastrophe in the making.
