Monthly number of dispatches in eastern Shizuoka Prefecture in before the COVID-PP and during the COVID-PP. February 2021 was the only month in the COVID-PP in which the number of dispatches exceeded that in the before COVID-PP. This trend was the reverse of the recent trends in transportation by HEMS because the number of transportations had been increasing year by year, with the aging of society in Japan.
