Abstract

Retraction: "Effects of Glut1 gene silencing on proliferation, differentiation, and apoptosis of colorectal cancer cells by targeting the TGF-β/PI3K-AKT-mTOR signaling pathway," by Xue-Liang Wu, Li-Kun Wang, Dong-Dong Yang, Ming Qu, Yong-Jiang Yang, Fei Guo, Lei Han, Jun Xue, J Cell Biochem. 2018; 2356-2367: The above article, published online on 08 September 2017 in Wiley Online Library (https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1002/jcb.26399) has been retracted by agreement between the journal's Editor in Chief, Prof. Dr. Christian Behl, and Wiley Periodicals LLC. The retraction has been agreed following an investigation based on allegations raised by a third party. A detailed investigation revealed that several image elements of the experimental data were published elsewhere in a different scientific context. Thus, the editors consider the conclusions of this article to be invalid.
