Abstract

Retraction: "Effects of microRNA-494 on proliferation, migration, invasion, and apoptosis of medulloblastoma cells by mediating c-myc through the p38 MAPK signaling pathway," by Xiao-Heng Xu, Si-Jin Zhang, Qi-Bo Hu, Xing-Yu Song, Wei Pan, J Cell Biochem. 2019; 2594-2606: The above article, published online on 10 October 2018 in Wiley Online Library (https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/abs/10.1002/jcb.27559), has been retracted by agreement between the journal's Editor in Chief, Prof. Dr. Christian Behl, and Wiley Periodicals LLC. The retraction has been agreed following an investigation based on allegations raised by a third party. Several flaws and inconsistencies between results presented and experimental methods described were found. Thus, the editors consider the conclusions of this article to be invalid.
