    1. One of the most important characteristics of a scientist is to be observing. When we started working with tin perovskite solutions, we observed very pronounced optical changes with little modifications. We started measuring some samples with SnF2 just for curiosity, but we would have never thought that it was having such a strong influence in DMSO-based solutions. The nicest part of this work was how we arranged the combination of very different types of expertise, with several solution and film characterization techniques. I hope this work will help highlighting the need for more solution design and characterization.
