Cerebritis preceding cerebral abscess formation: a report of three cases
Abstract
Computerized tomography demonstrated the evolution of cerebral abscess from cerebritis in three patients. One of these was proven subsequently to be a mixed pyogenic and tuberculous abscess. The time course of this evolution in each case is presented and its clinical importance discussed.
