Prashant Nagpal, MD, FSCCT, is an associate professor of radiology and the section head of cardiovascular imaging at the University of Wisconsin–Madison. His area of clinical expertise includes cardiovascular CT and MRI and thoracic imaging. His research interests include development and validation of CT and MRI technologic advances that allow better characterization of heart and lung diseases, multi-energy CT, and understanding the role of imaging in improving patient outcomes.
