Dr Barker is professor of radiology and oncology at the Johns Hopkins
University School of Medicine. He has been performing research on MR
spectroscopy and MRI in humans for more than 30 years. As a member of the
Division of Neuroradiology at Johns Hopkins, he has a particular interest in
developing advanced MRI methods for the improved understanding and diagnosis of
neurologic, psychiatric, and oncologic disease.
