The figure generated using the EPIDEMAP framework shows the buildings in the Paris area as imported from the OpenStreetMap.org database. The colours reflect the building occupancy (colour warmth correlate with building occupancy). Schools and hospitals are treated differently and shown in cyan. Combining this detailed geographical information infectious disease epidemiological models can help elaborate high-precision scenarios for local or national public health authorities.
