Abstract

Retraction: "IRAK3 gene silencing prevents cardiac rupture and ventricular remodeling through negative regulation of the NF-κB signaling pathway in a mouse model of acute myocardial infarction," by Zhen-Wei Ge, Bao-Cai Wang, Jun-Long Hu, Jun-Jie Sun, Sheng Wang, Xian-Jie Chen, Shu-Ping Meng, Lin Liu, and Zhao-Yun Cheng, J Cell Physiol. 2019; 11722-11733. The above article, published online on 7 December 2018 in Wiley Online Library (https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1002/jcp.27827) has been retracted by agreement between the authors, the journal's Editor in Chief, Prof. Dr. Gregg Fields, and Wiley Periodicals LLC. The authors asked for a retraction and stated that unintentional errors occurred during the research process, so that the experimental results cannot be verified. Thus, the conclusions are considered to be invalid. The authors were not available to approve the retraction text after the investigation was concluded.
