Abstract
Retraction: "Zerumbone inhibits epithelial-mesenchymal transition and cancer stem cells properties by inhibiting the β-catenin pathway through miR-200c," by Fatemeh Karimi Dermani, Razieh Amini, Massoud Saidijam, Mona Pourjafar, Sahar Saki, Rezvan Najafi. Journal of Cellular Physiology 2018, 233(12), 9538-9547: The above article, published online on 26 June 2018 in Wiley Online Library (https://doi.org/10.1002/jcp.26874), has been retracted by agreement between the authors, the journal's Editor-in-Chief, Prof. Dr. Gregg Fields, and Wiley Periodicals LLC. The retraction has been agreed following an investigation based on allegations raised by a third party. A detailed investigation revealed that several image elements of the experimental data were published elsewhere in a different scientific context. Thus, the conclusions of the article are considered to be invalid. The authors asked to retract their article.
