This article reviews information on possible adverse events occurring in the organ of vision - in particular, the retina - after using systemic drugs, discusses the drugs that lead to drug-induced retinopathy most often, and describes histomorphological changes and modern understanding of the pathogenesis of damage to retinal structures.

В обзоре представлены сведения о возможных нежелательных явлениях со стороны органа зрения, а именно сетчатки, на фоне применения системных препаратов. Рассматриваются препараты, использование которых наиболее часто приводит к лекарственной ретинопатии. Описаны гистоморфологические изменения, приведены современные представления о патогенезе повреждения структур сетчатки.
