Abstract

Results of six months' biofiltration in six selected cases. Biofiltration is a method by which haemodialytic treatment can be completed within three hours and acidosis is corrected in a shorter time than with bicarbonate dialysis. In six selected patients with different syndromes not one patient showed a symptom of insufficient dialysis. In one patient serious hypertension was resolved satisfactorily.
