[Dynamics of the level of acylhydroperoxides and platelet aggregation in chronic ischemic heart disease and essential hypertension during treatment]
Abstract
Platelet aggregation has been found to be increased in chronic coronary disease of any type, whereas the acylhydroperoxide level was only increased in anginal patients. Conventional therapy normalizes platelet aggregation in patients with angina or angina plus essential hypertension, yet it has no effect on acylhydroperoxides. In essential hypertension, platelet aggregation and acylhydroperoxides increase near the time of discharge.
