Abstract

Retraction: "miR-200c, a tumor suppressor that modulate the expression of cancer stem cells markers and epithelial-mesenchymal transition in colorectal cancer," by Fateme Karimi Dermani, Razieh Amini, Massoud Saidijam, Rezvan Najafi. Journal of Cellular Biochemistry 2018, 119(7), 6288-6295: The above article, published online on 16 April 2018 in Wiley Online Library (doi:10.1002/jcb.26880) has been retracted by agreement between the authors, the journal's Editor-in-Chief, Prof. Dr. Christian Behl, and Wiley Periodicals LLC. The retraction has been agreed following an investigation based on allegations raised by a third party. A detailed investigation revealed that several image elements of the experimental data were published elsewhere in a different scientific context. Thus, the conclusions of the article are considered to be invalid. The authors asked to retract their article.
