Visual acuity loss defined as best-corrected visual acuity ≥0.3 logMAR (20/40 or worse Snellen score in the better-seeing eye) or blindness ≥1.0 logMAR (20/200 or worse Snellen score in the better-seeing eye) as measured by an eye care professional. Results from strata with fewer than 30 respondents were suppressed to enhance the quality of estimates.
