Abstract

Background: Important organs and structures are located in the cervical region. In case of blunt and penetrating trauma, emergency situations may arise.

Objective: Emergency management as well as diagnostic and therapeutic steps pertaining to neck injuries are presented.

Conclusion: Shock therapy and airway management are essential, fast management of neck injuries highly relevant.

Zusammenfassung: HINTERGRUND: In der Halsregion befinden sich lebenswichtige Organstrukturen und Leitungsbahnen in einem kleinen anatomischen Raum. Bei stumpfen und spitzen Traumata kann es daher zu einem lebensbedrohlichen Zustand kommen.

Ziel der arbeit: Das Notfallmanagement sowie die Diagnostik und Therapie der einzelnen Strukturen des Halses im Rahmen eines Traumas werden vorgestellt.

Schlussfolgerung: Die Schocktherapie sowie die zügige Atemwegssicherung sind vorrangig, die rasche Versorgung der einzelnen Organverletzungen ist sehr relevant.
