Talking about cancer: how much is too much?

Abstract

Doctors who have not come to terms with their own feelings about serious illness and dying may experience considerable embarrassment and feel ill at ease when discussing these subjects with patients. The problems of communicating with patients and ways in which they can be resolved are reflected upon.
