[Anti-HTLV III antibodies in the personnel of a hospital in the Campania region]

Abstract
The authors have effected an epidemiological research on 417 employees of the "Centro Traumatologico Ortopedico" (CTO) Hospital of Naples (Italy) in order to locate the anti-HTLV III antibodies. The obtained result alloweds to point out the low percentage of positivity (0.2%), therefore the authors concluded that the professional risk of infection with HTLV III is very low among the hospital employees.
