M.D., S.C.K.S., N.C., and M.J. are all part of a John and Lorna Wing Foundation funded research project based at London South Bank University, exploring National Health Service (UK) General Practitioners' knowledge, attitudes, and practices regarding annual health checks for autistic adults and autism training. M.D. is a member of AIMS-2-Trials Autism Representatives Steering Committee. S.M. is a member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists' Autism Group (promoting the importance of autism to the psychiatric profession) and Disabilities Equality Action Plan Working Group.
