Sinonasal cancer and furniture workers: update and methodological points
Abstract
Using data drawn and adapted from the 1980 national census and the mortality statistics for the years 1979-1985, we update our previously published standardized mortality ratio for sinonasal cancer mortality and odds ratio for sinonasal adenocarcinoma death among Swiss furniture workers. The former is 620 (95% confidence interval 360-1020, p less than 0.00001), the latter is 75.
