Leaders can use this article to assist in training both mentors and mentees. This article reminds people that the mindsets and skills necessary to become good mentor and mentee improve with practice, thus engage, learn, and improve. The time invested in mentoring relationships enhances patient care, creates positive work environment within organizations, improves individual and organizational performance, and creates a brighter future for the medical profession.
