Complications in tendon injury and surgery

Abstract

Despite continued improvement in the methods used to treat tendon injury, problems still arise. Careful attention paid to the details of surgical indications, technique, and postoperative management will prevent or reduce the effects of complications in this difficult area of hand surgery.
