The “Consider, Listen, Decide” framework recommends that clinicians consider the clinical context of the individual patient, listen to the patient’s goals of care and priorities, and decide on the treatment approach that best aligns with the patient’s health goals. Potential strategies to facilitate these steps are shown. GDMT = guideline-directed medical therapy; PPC = Patient Priorities Care; QoL = quality of life; Revasc = revascularization.
