Dr Link is professor of radiology at UCSF, chief of musculoskeletal

Francisco VA Health Care System. A clinical endocrinologist, her clinical
research focuses on osteoporosis and bone metabolism. In particular, she studies
the relationships between bone, fat, and glucose metabolism, including the
effects of obesity, weight loss, and diabetes on bone.
