Shruthi Ram, MD, is the section chief of the Division of Breast Imaging at Rochester General Hospital, Unity Hospital, and Newark Wayne Community Hospital. She completed her radiology residency, followed by a breast imaging fellowship, at UC Davis Medical Center in 2017. She was an assistant professor at the Alpert Medical School of Brown University from 2017 to 2023, where she was active in trainee education and research mentorship programs. She served on local and regional committees including the New England Roentgen Ray Society, where she was invited to speak at teaching conferences and was a co-director of their annual breast imaging course. She is a reviewer for Journal of Breast Imaging, American Journal of Roentgenology, and Radiology: Imaging Cancer. Her areas of research interest include breast MRI and digital breast tomosynthesis.
