A preventive mastectomy with immediate reconstruction for the high-risk breast cancer patient
Abstract
A surgical technique for simple mastectomy with immediate reconstruction is described; it is a one-stage procedure. Criteria for performing preventive simple mastectomy are presented. The author invites a 10 year study using the criteria and his operative technique to determine the validity of preventive surgical approach.
