[The Prescription Model: Challenge and Chance for Physicians and Psychological Psychotherapists]
Abstract
This article illustrates the procedures of the prescription model which came into force on July 1, 2022. The prescription model allows psychological psychotherapists to treat and bill patients referred to them by a physician as independent service providers via mandatory health insurance. The article describes the treatment process under the new model. It also points out the challenges when implementing the new model and identifies potential for better interprofessional collaboration between the prescribing doctor and the psychological psychotherapist in the treatment of their shared patients.

Einleitung: Im vorliegenden Artikel werden die Abläufe des Anordnungsmodells erklärt, das seit dem 1. Juli 2022 in Kraft ist. Dieses Modell erlaubt es psychologischen Psychotherapeutinnen und Psychotherapeuten, auf ärztliche Anordnung als selbstständige Leistungserbringer via Grundversicherung tätig zu sein und abzurechnen. In diesem Artikel wird der Behandlungsprozess im Rahmen des neuen Modells beschrieben. Der Beitrag weist zudem auf die Herausforderungen bei der Umsetzung des neuen Modells hin und benennt das Potenzial einer besseren interprofessionellen Zusammenarbeit zwischen anordnender Ärztin/anordnendem Arzt und psychologischer Psychotherapeutin/psychologischem Psychotherapeuten bei der Behandlung gemeinsamer Patientinnen und Patienten.
Titre: Le modèle de prescription: un défi et une opportunité pour les médecins et les psychologues-psychothérapeutes.
Introduction: Cet article explique le fonctionnement du modèle de prescription en vigueur depuis le 1er juillet 2022. Ce modèle permet aux psychologues-psychothérapeutes d‘exercer leur activité de manière indépendante et de facturer à la charge de l‘assurance de base sur prescription médicale. L‘article décrit le processus thérapeutique dans le cadre du nouveau modèle. Il met également en évidence les défis liés à sa mise en oeuvre et la possibilité d‘une meilleure collaboration interprofessionnelle entre les médecins prescripteurs et les psychologues-psychothérapeutes dans la prise en charge de leur patientèle commune.
