Sensitivity, specificity, positive predictive (Pos Pred) value, and negative predictive (Neg Pred) value for the number of years of follow-up required to identify belonging to the “FEV1 high with a rapid decline” trajectory. Points represent the values obtained in the simulation, and the line is a smoothed average. Sensitivity is the proportion detected among subjects truly belonging to the trajectory. Specificity is the proportion ruled out among subjects truly not belonging to the trajectory. Pos Pred value is the proportion correctly identified among subjects classified as belonging to the trajectory. Neg Pred value is the proportion correctly identified among subjects classified as not belonging to the trajectory.
