A status report on diet, nutrition and cancer
Abstract
Current data imply that a compilation of the nutrient effects strongly suggests that a diet enriched in plant products reduces cancer risk. The recommendation to increase the consumption of plant products is in accord with similar recommendations on diet and other chronic diseases, such as cardiovascular disease and diabetes.
