UCG has patents and applications for indigenous radio-opaque markers for a colon transit study, a double-lumen catheter for upper gut aspirate culture, a FODMAP fermentation chamber, BreathCalc, and a FODMAP meal challenge test. Although none of these patented products are currently on the market and the author has not yet received any royalty from them, he will start receiving royalty if they become commercially available.
