His research focuses on using artificial intelligence and machine learning to improve diagnosis of osteoporosis, sarcomas, and other musculoskeletal conditions. He has published more than 100 scientific journal papers and lectured nationally and internationally. He is deputy editor of Radiology: Artificial Intelligence, associate editor for BMC Musculoskeletal Disorders, and associate editor for the Journal of Imaging Informatics in Medicine.
