Resection and reoperation in neuro-oncology. Rationale and approach

Abstract

The author presents a discussion of the role of radical resection and reoperation in the treatment of patients with malignant brain tumors. Mechanical cytoreduction, morbidity and mortality associated with surgery, reoperation, principles of the surgical method, and the future of surgery are detailed.
