[Robotic Central Pancreatectomy]

Abstract

Central pancreatectomy is an excellent alternative to left pancreatectomy for symptomatic benign or premalignant lesions of the pancreatic body or tail. A key advantage of this technique lies in the preservation of pancreatic parenchyma, resulting in a lower rate of postoperative diabetes mellitus.
