The Proliferation of Hospital-Based Violence-Intervention Programs in North Carolina
Abstract
Hospital-based violence intervention programs provide an example of the multifaceted approach needed to address violence as a public health issue. In North Carolina, several health care systems have joined the call to create programs that address the needs of victims of violence and promote the healing process.
