The Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh is a charity and membership subscription organisation and, as part of the Federation of UK Royal Colleges of Physicians, is responsible for developing and delivering curricula and assessments in internal medicine and its specialties in the UK. AE is not remunerated in his role as president.
