The above article, published online on 13 June 2012 in Wiley Online Library (wileyonlinelibrary.com), has been retracted by agreement between the journal Editor-in-Chief, Michael Geary; the International Federation of Gynecology and Obstetrics; and John Wiley & Sons Ltd. The retraction has been agreed following an investigation based on concerns raised by a third party. The editors found that the majority of the statistical results presented in Table 1 and 2 could not be reproduced from the summary data reported in the paper. These inaccuracies could not be attributed to rounding. The author was invited to comment on the concerns and provide supporting data but did not respond. The editors consider the results and conclusion reported in this article unreliable.
