A 2.9‐cm well‐defined, solid exophytic renal mass is noted in the posterior midsection of a solitary left kidney (R.E.N.A.L. nephrometry score 8). There is no evidence of intra‐tumoral fat. There are no signs of invasion into the renal sinus, renal vein or perinephric fat and there is no lymphadenopathy.
