Abstract

Pruritus was assessed in plaque psoriasis, atopic eczema and acne vulgaris using visual analogue scales. The results demonstrate that itch is a common and frequently troublesome symptom in plaque psoriasis. This observation should be more widely recognised in textbooks and publications.
