[Thinking about transcultural prenatal genetic counseling]
Abstract
For parents, prenatal diagnosis of genetic diseases represents a traumatic life event from a psychological point of view. With this in mind, it is interesting to understand how the clinical system of prenatal diagnosis can be adapted to a particularly vulnerable population, represented by women and couples from cultures different from those of the host country, from a transcultural perspective.
Keywords: culture; diagnostic anténatal; disease; genetics; génétique; linguistic mediation; maladie; médiation linguistique; prenatal diagnosis; religion.
